Fusix Networks training courses

Since 1997, Fusix Networks has been organizing training courses focused on the Internet. Many attendees have made their first Internet steps on our computers. Now, it is time to take the concept further, and therefore we offer two new training courses aimed at Internet Service Providers.

Please look at the solutions that we can provide, and feel free to write to us at consultancy@fusix.nl or give us a call at +31 85 560 7400 (8 AM - 8 PM GMT) for a chat.

ISP training courses

> selling your services

A technical training for sales people working in the ISP or data center field. We cover IP address requests, IPv6, how to identify possibly fraudulous Requests for Quotation, why not to use the term 'Class C' any more, differences between Layer 2 and Layer 3 connections and when to sell which one to a customer, selling dark fiber and optics, CWDM and DWDM, BGP peering and transit (including how to find out where your potential customer buys their bandwidth now), MPLS and VPLS, and data center basics. All modules are finished with a few case studies. Your Sales staff will be able to sell better after this training because they will understand better how to serve your customers.

> running, not ruining, your stuff

A training for your junior technical staff in order to become seniors in just two days. We cover IP address administration, DNS and RADIUS, OSPF, IS-IS, iBGP and eBGP, MPLS and VPNs and will use our on-line lab for hands-on excercises. Your junior sysadmin will be able to run your network after this training, making your company independent of third-party support contracts for the network.

> ...or have it your way!

Both training courses can be adjusted based on your company's needs. For instance, modules about VMWare can be added (both for the Sales training and for the Technical training). Please contact us in case you have additional requirements. The courses can be taught in your office or at our training center in Amsterdam. Training material is in English, the course itself can be taught in Dutch or English.
